yes. but these are the nurses that should be nursing in their own country but more importantly, becoming the trainers that will help create their healthcare professionals of the future. you can't blame them for seeking the better pay in this country, but you can blame a government that won't put money into training and seeks many of its recruits expensively ready-trained by someone else who can ill afford to lose them.

asset stripping the home country .... well anyway the Filipinas wont stay too long in Lincs where there is a very high immigrant prevalence anyway as a result of the labour intensive market gardening industry
and they quickly move into the cities - where they start at the crap jobs like cas or kids and move to better ones when the opportunity comes up

That isn't my experience. Most nurses I've encountered of any flavour do a good job and have high standards of hygiene, but those I've encountered that fall short of what I would expect of a nurse have without exception been foreign.

/// The NHS would have collapsed years ago if it weren't for the foreign staff it employs. ///
Perhaps we would have enough staff of our own to attend to our sick, if the NHS hadn't been ladened down by sheer numbers who came to this country, by Labour's original mass immigration programme?
