The Welsh main news this evening began a blatant campaign to remain in Europe, with a set of doom laden statements and bogus statistics. Deliberately giving air time to people who were pro Euro, and showing just one anti Euro in the worst possible light. There are no phone numbers or accredited authors or agency, just the web link inviting you to join. It will get dirty before long.

As you well know Gromit, the salaries and remuneration of MEPs from all parties are published and open knowledge, as are all expenses claimed.(not that the books have actually been signed off for 20 years). All MEPs are elected and more importantly can be unelected. The shadowy, secret committees that have access to funds and access to the inner sanctum of the EU mafia are accountable to no one. They are set up to influence and wield power, that has been ceded by default, and whose only aim is to maintain the gravy train that is the domain of a few. At the expense of the many.
