//Lucy Thomas, the Deputy Director of Communications of the ‘Britain Stronger in Europe’, (BSE) campaign has taken to Twitter to claim that her new organisation was not set up by the EU-funded European Movement. She said that BSE 'is in no way EU-funded & was not set up by the European Movement.' It would appear she is not on top of the facts. The BSE campaign's company registration number is #9641190. If you search for this on Companies House, you would find, that it was previously a company called 'Interim Campaign Limited', registered by Laura Sandys - Chair of the European Movement.
This matters, because the European Movement receives a lot of funding from the European Commission.
The European Movement is an EU funded propaganda arm of the EU institutions. Surely the Deputy Director of the BSE campaign should have known that they were the founders of her campaign? How can she deny that BSE is in receipt of EU funds when it was set up by the EU funded European Movement?//
