You are right TTT they should just all be in one group with each having a voice. I can just imagine the unions alienating the wealth makers no end. With the other groups all in it together the negative effect of the unions can be balanced out a bit.

Zacs, this subject transcends politics, this is about freedom from tyranny and self determination. It's not surprising that normally opposed camps can find themselves agreeing. After the vote they'll go back to doing their own thing whether we are in or out.

Zacs, I mean self determination and freedom from Tyranny must outrank mere politics surely, so what a bunch of lefties want to lead the out campaign so what? on this subject we agree. I'd rather it was not them but really that is a minor issue compared to the major issue.

Jim yes, freedom from tyranny. The EU may not be marching about in jackboots but their subjugation of the peoples of Europe is no less effective.

It's hardly subjugation, though, is it? The European Parliament is a democratically-elected body (albeit not taken seriously enough by the people). The Council of Ministers includes democratically-elected members from each country too. The European Council is made of the democratically-elected heads of state. Oh, and we have been given the opportunity to leave, if we so wish. A tyranny it is absolutely not.

For sure, there's a case for leaving it, and the divisions between various Out campaigners risk messing that up. But then, so does massively exaggerating the complaints you have.
