Poor reporting by the Independent. Two days after this attack, they still have not corrected to story.
The two culprits were apparently drunk and drugged local men, and the Independent must know that by now (everyone else does).
I cannot decide if the failure to correct the article is sloppy (there have been many job losses), or whether it is deliberate misleading of viewers.
As the OP says, Oh dear. Indeed.
