Since it does not seem to have entered the News Section yet, I thought I would lead the news readers in wishing our Queen, many happy returns of the day, on the occasion of her 90th birthday.

I second that aog. Nice programme on BBC1 just now ....
Happy Birthday and I trust it's one with plenty of treats and tipples, even fun with Phil. Of course, you need an AB birthday cake.....

Happy Birthday Your Majesty. may you have a wonderful day.
Is it her birthday today or just the day she was born and why does she have two?
Have a great time to you and Buenchico too
Wishing Her Majesty a Happy Day and many many more
Actually. she doesn't have two, just the one, today. The idea of an 'official' birthday is relatively modern, introduced by Edward VII. The birthday of the sovereign has always been marked by a parade. However Edward VII was born in November, and with the weather in that month not being conducive to outdoor parades he decided to shift it to June.
Many happy returns of the day Your Majesty.
I wonder how many birthday cards have arrived for her? Thousands I imagine. A lovely lady.
That reminds me, my mother would have been 100 today. The Queen was born on her tenth birthday.
yes, good luck to her, a hard and uncomplaining worker who's always done her best for her country.
Lovely cakes DT and Baldric.
I hope the Queen likes Nadiya's Orange drizzle cake too - she was thrilled to be asked to bake for this special occasion.
The Queen Mother's nickname amongst the royal family was Cake, due to her extreme fondness of it.
I wonder if that's BOO's nickname too (haha).
