Would he like his US to be partly governed by a amalgamation of Mexican and South American countries?
No the US are not in the least bothered about the British people, they just selfishly want to use UK as a voice in European affairs.

The average Joe is entitled to state their opinion, in places such as here, because they don't have more influence than another poster arguing a different viewpoint. That's part of a debate. Although even then those outside the UK should be careful since the same, 'not your concern', accusation could be levelled at them; depending on what was written....

However someone holding the office of head of the most powerful powerful nation in the world is not simply your 'guy in the street'. Whether it influences us personally, or whether we pay no heed, is not the issue. There are a lot of undecided out, there a portion of which may conclude that they can't see the best option and instead of abstaining decides, "let's go with what the 'important guy' said"; he must know something.
This unfairly influences the future outcome of a country that is not the legitimate domain of the 'important guy'. There may be a decision that would benefits him and his country, but that should not effect the result of the UK citizens' decision. Therefore the 'important guy' should keep their opinions to themself.
We're not discussing, just, "I'm not keen on this guy or admire that", here; we are trying to convince fellow UK citizens the the point of view we hold is the correct one for the future of the UK and future generations. It's a totally different ballgame.

so extending that logic, Cameron, Corbyn et al and Johnson, Gove et al should stop trying to influence the undecided. As someone who knows which way he is voting, I would welcome the airwaves and papers being devoid of the twaddle and misinformation that is now being posted - for example we send 350 mill a week over to Brussels, conveniently forgetting the flow back in subsidies to agriculture, regions, roads and all the rest - and also the inward investment encouraged into the UK.......just one example.
I know, Mikey, the thing that really ppisses me off is that this, our wrinkly and crinkly generation are trying to influence the strong wants of the under 35's where 'In' is running at a clear majorityt....they are the ones who have to live with the outcome. Interesting, the latest two polls, including your lot, show a significant widening in favour of the Ins and the undecided coming down to under 10 per cent.

/// But I thought that Question Time producers always rig the audiences in favour of left wing and liberal supporters. ///
I think some sensible members of the audience must have slipped under the BBC's radar last night, why even David Dimbleby struggled, by trying to interrupt some panel members and failing to select a hands up that agreed with the stay-in brigade.
The economist and financial adviser in the audience put up a good argument, why we should get out.

Oh I see, we should ignore anyone over 35 because the polls say that the under 35's want to stay in. Left wing democracy in action, just like the usual name calling from Mickey when he has no argument whatsoever.
Obama should but out. The Septics wouldn't entertain being in Europe so why should they dictate to us.
As for the war connection, jeez talk about scrapping the barrel.

The US are members of the North American Free Trade Group, which has a similar single market as the EU. The North American area is 8 times greater than the EU with a greater GDP.
Obama is looking after America's best interests, and the administration belueves in a strong Europe, with the UK part of it. Promoting America's best interest is not interfering in our referendum.
