You know what they say , three topics of conversation never to be brought up the round the pub bar (or on AB)...football...politics ...religion. None of them have any room for disccusion. They are more vocal and vehement than us on this subject, therefore we will lose, but not the referendum vote....

Jazzy...I am not entirely convinced that the majority on here want to leave the EU, despite the Straw Poll that Ed gave us recently.
I am unsure how many Members AB has, but only a small proportion are actively debating this issue, and other political issues.
I hate to use the phrase, "The Silent Minority" but its my best guess that the vote will be close, but it will be slightly in favour of staying.
I may be wrong of course.

Same as Tilly - and yes, we are deadly serious about leaving, not shooting our mouths off. What happened to the concept that older people had more experience of life, could therefore make judgements more clearly and that their ideas should, therefore, be respected and weighted more than the callow youth?
