That ^^ was baldric, didn't realise Ltd had logged in.
mikey is definitely for remain!
An interesting viewpoint naomi. For the majority of us, I think that we invite someone to dinner because they are eloquent, likeable and have an interesting personality.

It seems to be from the dislike expressed in this thread over Cameron, that you may be in a minority in considering him as a dinner guest, unless you'd want to break up the party early.
The point is that Cameron has reneged big time since the election. He promised us that he would renegotiate, and if the results were not satisfactory he would campaign for out. The results are not satisfactory yet he campaigns for in.
Neuron....I have been out walking my little Willy !

Yes, I am for remain, which is the Labour Party's stance, although that is not the point of YMB's original post. My view on in/out is immaterial to the subject under discussion.

Despite what our right-wingers are saying now, they did have an alternative to voting for Dave last May....they could have voted for UKIP, which was and still is, the only Party that wants to leave the EU.

The Tory Party's position is to REMAIN and our right-wingers knew that when they went into the Polling Booth in May 2015. Its still the same now.

So, for them to cry their crocodile tears now, so soon after that Election is disingenuous.

As you said a few hours ago...."You reap what you sow folks!
Neuron.......congratulations by the way of your post of 17:01 and 17:05, but you won't convince those that are sobbing into their beer because of this horrid man Dave ( the one they voted for ! )
Jackdaw, //He promised us that he would renegotiate, and if the results were not satisfactory he would campaign for out. The results are not satisfactory yet he campaigns for in.//

Indeed, but he claims the results were satisfactory. They weren’t of course, but just like Corbyn publicly supporting ‘Remain’ when we all know he doesn’t, Cameron is a politician.

Neuron, //It seems to be from the dislike expressed in this thread over Cameron, that you may be in a minority in considering him as a dinner guest,//

I’ve never minded being in the minority. Never have been a follower - or a sycophant.

Mikey, // they could have voted for UKIP,//

Haha! Wouldn't THAT have been dream come true for you! As for the Tory policy being to remain, we know, but they offered us a vote. What did Ed offer? A bunch of empty promises carved into his political tombstone.
Thanks Mickey. You've put your finger on this issue precisely. The Tory voters simply don't know what to do now that Cameron has been shown to be an idiot. Were they really stupid enough to think that Cameron would return from Brussels with a result? Jackdaw, seems to that Cameron is some sort of voter's puppet. Time to wake up and smell the coffee folks!

It seems to me that others on here appear to think that a person's view about Cameron is somehow related to their opinion on remain or brexit. I can't quite see the logic in that.

Well naomi, come the end of the month, Cameron will have plenty of time on his hands. Time to get your invitation off to No 10 while you still know his address.

I shouldn't bother contacting your local Conservative Association to fill more seats around the table though.
neuron see the post at 9.22 this morning. We were promised a referendum, dodgy promised to back a vote for out unless he could "negotiate" better terms and reforms. So we will toast the liar.
Bad choice of word there Togo. toast can mean raising a glass to someone who has carried out your wishes or it can mean to rubbish or destroy someone in an idiomatic sense.

Pray, tell us what you mean.
Well we will "roast" him then LOL.
You carry on my friend and roast him. Naomi will have even more dates to arrange her solitary dinner party with him then!

There's nothing I'd like better than see him leaving No 10 in an identical manner to Margaret Thatcher.
Right-wingers .... it looks increasingly like you voted for the wrong person and Party back in May 2015...what a terrible pity !

Never mind...you will be able to change your minds again in 20120 !

Gosh, that's ^^^ a long wait!
Lol Baldric the skit works on both levels. The dopey date, and the lag between the gleeful bedwetting, gonad clutching, pickup.
neuron, //Thanks Mickey. You've put your finger on this issue precisely. The Tory voters simply don't know what to do now that Cameron has been shown to be an idiot.//

Careful. Mikey’s red mist appears to be affecting you. He lives in the little bubble of his own imagination too, never comprehending what’s been written.
Naomi, no red mist I'm afraid. Mickey just like everyone else on AB is entitled to his opinion. The peurile comments of others on here right now force one to take the view that they, rather than Mickey, are the ones living in bubbles.

Incidentally, just take a look at today's newspaper headlines for an insight into Cameron's current credibility amongst the populace. The Tories are fast creating political suicide, whether you accept it or not. Can't get any worse. Brexit here we come!!

Talking of bubbles, Jackdaw is clearly unhappy that Cameron returned from Brussels without the goods. Could Cameron be living in a bubble that's impervious to the wishes of the electorate? Does that bubble allow him to ignore the wishes of Tory supporters?

Some might say Cameron is sitting in the biggest bubble of them all.

What are the wishes of the Tory supporters?
