I meant smoking in general jno and it's been discussed on here way more than just this aspect.

The Police should get their act together, anyone still smoking in such close proximity to children needs sorting.

As an aside, I was lounging outside the bar the other day having a smoke, and a mother said to her young boy, after throwing a disdainful look at me, "Hold your breath, Tommy.". Meanwhile, they're slowly ambling by an idling diesel powered truck emitting noxious fumes parked at the curb.

It is illegal to smoke in a motor home or camper van if children are present whilst in motion, but perfectly legal when being used as accommodation.
