We need someone on watch until Brexit actually happens. Since UKIP managed to unite people from left and right, country and town I think it would be appropriate if they re-formed as a UK People's Party to represent that swathe of voters who are certainly not represented now - as the referendum showed.

I won't be voting UKIP, no matter what 'majority' agree with them. There are plenty who don't.

In fact, I'd say about 48% of the country don't.

But the main reason I won't vote for them is because I've read their 2016 manifesto and it contains a whole load of things that I am not interested in.

For instance, 'defend public libraries'?

I know that there is a section of the community for whom public libraries are an essential resource, but not me.

Local referendums (it should be referenda by the way) - terrible idea.

Incentives to invigorate town centres? Would only work if people want to turn their backs on 'one stop' superstores and instead traipse around their local high street - going into eight shores, and lugging their shopping back to the cab rank or bus.

Local homes for local people and veterans. Needs to be thought out. It's just a headline.

Opposition to wind farms. There's no explanation as to why, or what other sustainable energy resource we should turn to. Okay - there's nuclear power. Would UKIP be in favour of an increase in our nuclear energy capacity to meet future needs?

The bit about membership of the EU costing £55million a day. It didn't. That's an error.

Create more grammar schools. Laudable! I like it. Who's going to pay?

I will never vote tory and Labour is in too much of a mess lately, so yes I would vote UKIP.

I looked it up; there is a major difference between referenda and referendums. If the Govt/whoever went for a re-run of the one we have had, referenda....if a different one but associated with the subject of a Brexit divorce and its terms, then that is 'referendums.'

Fairly straight forward . Question.... Where are you from? How long have you been here? Do you speak English?

Is that to be extended to the "visitors" who arrive in the back of an Albanian lorry, or do they still qualify for health care unreservedly?

I suppose we could divert some of the education budget from political agenda and "teacher training". ( What exactly do they "teach" them at teacher training?)

Going back a long, long way, Togo, Teacher Training involved developing your own subjects and lots of child psychology and developmental stuff. One house move I found a folder of essays I had written (for which I had got A's) and I couldn't really understand them.

They gave no real help to us, were too interested in de-constructing all the ideas we came in with; very sadly they did little towards re-construction. Best bits I came out with was the information that you should not spend more than 10 seconds writing on the board before turning round and checking the class; always look under the desks to see what their hands were up to and always make a seating plan until you knew who everyone was- then make them sit where you wanted. The rest I learned on the job!

In my book, sp, I would go for either - but I suspect it will be a question for approval on the terms of a divorce - and, hopefully, an alternative - hence a second referendum.
