///The burka is the most concealing of all Islamic veils. It is a one-piece veil that covers the face and body, often leaving just a mesh screen to see through.///
Just sayin'.

The banning of the burka is just another stick to beat Muslims with....it has beggar all to do with the rights of some Muslim women.
Saira Khan, runner up in the first series of The Apprentice, believes the burkha is an oppressive tool and says it is time to ban it from the streets of Britain
Yasmin Alibhai-Brown
As a Muslim woman, I see the veil as a rejection of progressive values
Ayaan Hirsi Ali
The veil deliberately marks women as private and restricted property, nonpersons. The veil sets women apart from men and apart from the world; it restrains them, confines them, grooms them for docility.

Talbot, when attempting to talk sense to Mikey on this subject you should bear in mind that, by his own admission, if he spotted a fellow passenger on a flight behaving suspiciously he wouldn’t report it – he would mind his own business. Such is the effect of politically correct brainwashing on the susceptible.

If mikey actually took the time to read other posts and think what was written he may of noticed that my post at 1521 mentioned that French law incorporates a charge and fine against husbands/fathers who compel their wives/daughters to wear the burqua against their own free will.
If mikey believes that this ban has nothing to do with the rights of Muslim women, as he erroneously states, then why would the French legislature incorporate that specific offence ??
