Now that David Cameron has retired to the back benches,I was wondering if any former Prime Minister has taken up a Cabinet job after their tenure at 10 Downing Street?

Enoch Powell
Oh yes Enoch Powell. Extremely wise man.hame he didn't achieve the post of P.M. This so called racist had foreseen Paris, Belgium, Middle East so many years ago when todays political pups were still sucking dummies. Make what you will of last two words.!!! :-)
Enoch Powell by the age of 26 was a Prof of Greek in an oz uni

First min of Health as a cabinet post I think
and to run the NHS - what did he do that is causing a problem for some ?
yes immigration - he opened the doors to commonwealth trained health care staff ....
After the rivers of blood speech ( oops didnt he create the 'problem' in the first place ? )and telling tories to vote labour in the election of ? 1970 - well there's loyalty for you !
he became by invitation MP for North Downe....

After his last book - his wife commented - you have no idea how hurtful it is ...
"he became by invitation MP for North Downe.... "

A brilliant man, but probably not really kitted out for politics
indeed, he began Caribbean immigration into Britain, and yet some who hate immigration still go on about what a wonderful chap he was.

I blame Britain's history teachers.
