I never go to the sub heads
You have no current affairs then ?
Question Author
unnecessary headings both politics and CA are what nearly all the news questions are about anyway.
Agree with Tora, both sub heads should go under the redesign.

Labour are just utterly clueless. Everyone could see that splitting the anti Corbyn vote was crazy. Drop to one challenger makes sense, but there shouldn't have been two to begin with.

Must be the slowest political death in history.
This is getting more and more like the recent Tory Leader election :)
Question Author
how?
No comparison. The Tories had a vacancy, Labour doesn't. No one challenged Cameron.

I think mikey is repressing the true horror of Labour at the moment. Useful ability for a Labour supporter.
Anyone see the Daily Politics today? On the programme were Hilary Benn and Ken Clarke. After discussing trident on which they both agreed that we need a nuclear deterrent they went on to discuss the labour Leadership election.Hilary Benn said that although Jeremy Corbyn had some good principles and ideas he is simpl not a leader and KC said that as a result a poorly led opposition did not keep a government on its toes and as such the government can get through most of what they want.If only "thick as two short planks" Len McCluskey and his cronies could see this Labour could attempt to find someone to lead the party who could perhaps at least make some inroads into the Consevative majority in 2020.
The only advantage this chap seems to have is that his name isn't Jeremy Corbyn. He seems to be from the extreme left-wing, from what I have read -they need a middle-of-the-roader to have any positive effect. I honestly believe that the country needs a strong, disputative opposition by the way.
Either way labour will be doomed to spend a long time in the wilderness or political oblivion.

Shame given how important an opposition is at yhe moment.

The difference being though, is the possibility that your dear Labour Party becomes split, and vanishes into obscurity.
