When you read the detail of the article, you will realise that it's nonsense.

See if you can spot it.

I can't be bothered.
do you beleive what you read in the papers? no, of course not. trouble is a lot of sun readers do.
I read the Sun and I can spell believe. ;)
Says Express in the link, piggy.
Well, for starters it says 'post brexit'. We aren't post brexit. Leeds voted remain by a narrow margin and Liverpool voted remain by 58%, so the statement 'The great Northern cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds – where millions of people voted Leave in June’s referendum to exit the EU – are leading the way.' is very misleading.

Very poor journalism.
This is one of those articles where it is better to start at the end and work your way up tp the top.
Slightly off-topic, but still relevant ::::

Zac-Master hit the nail on the head.

The figures are for the period leading up to the Referendum, not after it. It's chronologically incorrect.

Secondly Manchester (60.4%), Liverpool (58.1%) and Leeds (50.3%) all voted by a majority to Remain and Leave voters across the three cities totalled 357,566.

So how does 357,566 amounts to 'millions'.

Finally - the Council of Mortgage Lenders’ (CML) press release (from which the Express cherry-picked the headline figures) points out, a lot of lending is being driven "more by remortgaging and less by house purchases".

So all in all, chronologically incorrect, geographically incorrect and factually incorrect.
SP, I am in awe of your tolerance for tedium!
Question Author
Not tedium. Lies.
The Sun has a 'word list' that the journalists are allowed to use. It is based on the expected vocabulary of a 8 year old child.
Are you bored SP?

It's a glorious day, try going for a walk.
