I am absolutely disgusted at the latest from Bush.  We'd be classed as schizophrenic if we cited God's voice as our reason for killing someone, but somehow it's seen as heroic for that little worm to order the deaths of millions on God's say so?  I thought that Religion and Politics were meant to be kept seperate, anyway? Comments?

Religion and politics have never been seperate as far as I am aware. Whilst I am agnostic/atheist, and don't have a lot of time for religion, I remember from the sci fi film Contact someone saying something along the lines of - of course your personal religion is importnat - 70% of the population of the world say they are religious.

Isn't it amazing how everyone seems to have God on their side alone?  Every military organisation in every conflict worldwide have their "men of God" urging their own particular side to destroy whoever happens to be the enemy this week/month/year or whatever. 
The sooner the Yanks send Bush to Mars the better.  He needs to be in a world of his own.

If you actually read the article in question these comments are attributed to Bush by a palestinian.

Now being cynical you could say that these comments support what certain people are trying to do and that is to turn the middle east conflicts into what many extremists want...... a holy war.

These comments attributed to Bush, as far as I'm aware, were not recorded directly from him but this third party.

Who's to say what is true.

I only saw the headline and instantly assumed that it was a (mis)representation of something he'd said rather than a direct quote. It sounds too stupid for even GW Bush to say.

Then again, he did say "It's your money, you paid for it"
