Why don't they just ban them from flying for 5 years, then 10 then forever?

The ones who caused a disturbance should be banned. But how to tell who's going to be the next troublemaker?

you don't but at least you can take those that do out of circulation and deter most.
I doubt much will change. They might just get stricter with who they let on.

I never liked flying. A row kicking off would make it seem like hell above earth.
I just watched the video regarding that Tosh guy: Your Police are just too, too polite and almost apologetic...Wow.
They were being filmed, Stuey. That might make them a tad more polite.
It's the way of the world Tora. The vast majority are penalised for the actions of a very small minority. Again, we agree. Crikey.
Good point, Tilly.
I thought they were very restrained when he spat at them. Fat, drunken slob!

The drummer in Banana splits?
sorry TGT, did not mean to upset you. LOL.
I don't fly these days, and its unlikely that I ever will again. But being stuck at 30,000 feet with a drunken twit like that Scottish guy fills me with utter horror.

If anyone turns up for a flight and is obviously drunk, then he shouldn't be allowed to board the aircraft.

I understand the Scottish slob was sentenced to 9 months in prison, which sounds good but lets not forget that he ruined the flight for everybody else.
