Jack, there are a few on here that hate the right. Their own party is in tatters so they try to look for the negative in everything he says or does.

The fact of the matter is who cares what they think, they dont have any more of a vote than you or I, Trumps words resonate with many Americans and that is all he will care about, not a few old lefties in the UK.

This is a typical Trump remark, as it contains the giveaway phrase

Its in the same frame as all other remarks he has made, about a miriad of subjects. First he makes a remark, or nearly makes a remark. The next step is to deny that he meant anything by it.

But of course, by then its too late, as the cat is out of the bag.

He is throwing petrol on an already roaring fire.

By the way, he still hasn't apologised for dissing the mother of an American hero.
