Exit polls?
from second place; and is likely to remain in the coalition.

Am I correct in assuming that's a result, not just a forecast/prediction/exit poll?
It's not a result and the margins are close.
not surprising, the people have had enough of the EU "project" - this will reflected in many forth coming elections in EU countries. This is the start of the collapse of the EU.

Thanks Talbot, it all does seem a bit vague, especially as the BBC newsflash implied it was a result.

Absolutely TTT, Farage told them so last October:

The Germans haven't had enough, most are still in favour of the EU.
The lefties won by a mile. Is that why you're cheering?
Over the past few weeks I've noticed -Talbot- talking vast amounts of common sense.

That's not sarcasm.
It''s exit polls in one State, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

"The Germans haven't had enough, most are still in favour of the EU. "

Well that's scarcely surprising is it? The EU (and in particular the euro) was designed principally for the Germans. The "purchase rate" (i.e at what rate the old currencies were exchaned for euros) and the prevailing interest rates were set wit just the Germans in mind. No consideraion was given for the other nations. This enables Germany to flog their goods to other EU countries at just the (unchangeable) rates they want. There is no way the Gemans will want to see an end to that.

I have just noticed that the results I have quoted were from March. Tim efor bed methinks. Mind you they were kept pretty quiet back then, I don't recall them.
// Projections late on Sunday night saw the centre-left SPD on 30.5%, the anti-immigration AfD on 20.9%, and the chancellor’s centre-right CDU suffering its all-time lowest result in the eastern state, on 19%. //

The German Conservative Party at an all time low - much to cheer about!
