Togo, Your results from March.
The SDP are the centre left Party and Merkel's main opposition. Not the Left Party.
Rather like UKIP taking votes from the Conservatives and letting Labour win the seat. This result is the German equivalent of that.
Nonsense, the Social Democrats are centre left not the equivalent of hard left Trotskyite UK Labour. Plus the support for them is at an all time low 19 or 20%. The AfD is predicted to pull in about 21%. The hard left party is almost non existent in Germany, they have had the communist USSR on their doorsteps for decades, a millions of former East Germans remember life as slaves to the system. They wont be voting for that any time soon. The CD and SD will have to form a coalition just like our very own Tory and Limp Dems had to . The AfD can then do the same thing that darling Nigel did and just keep focusing on the real issues concerning the German people. Europe is about to wake up with a start, we Brexiters just had our alarms set early is all.
The Labour Party are not hard left, they are centre left.
In the European Parliament, the British Labour Party sit side by side with the German SDP.

Haha what rubbish. You need to examine the Labour leader's (for now) views and proposed policies and indeed the policies of his paymasters who jerk his strings. They have all revived the 70s echo chamber tactics and strategies, for the want of anything of real view on the modern world. We even have strikes to preserve the position of door closers on trains. Coming next a campaign to have a man with a red flag walking in front of them, purely in the interests of safety you understand.
We've had guards on trains forever. But...

"Please mind the gap between Safety and Profit."
Existing governments in the EU need to start representing the views of their public, before extreme parties are voted in everywhere, making Europe a volatile area.
The British labour party is not, and never has been, a party of the Hard Left.
If Corbyn and his cohorts manage to drag it that way it will die.

Nice to see the SDP trouncing the racists btw :-)

Tell me how do the door closers manage to prevent the suicidal "jump into the gap" unfortunates from doing so? Laughable, we used to have firemen as well, perhaps they will make a comeback.
