Just in case there is anybody left that thinks that Trump would make an wonderful President, here he is heaping praise on Putin !

Putin......the man that ordered the annexation of part of the Ukraine, and is now busy helping his blood-thirsty mate, Assad, with bombing women and children in Syria.

Is Trump really that deluded that he thinks his support Putin will help him into the White House ?

Anything that will help ensure this megalomaniac stays out of the White House can only be to the good!
This is a very worrying time for everyone regarding the US presidential election.Because both candidates are,in their individual ways, unelectable. My wife and I have just been to the US to visit our son and his partner and we met her elderly grandparents and the grandmother stated that this was the first election that she didn't know who or even if she would vote.

Eddie....I am with you all way there !

Trump gets ever more deluded and unhinged as time goes on. He was trying to persuade black people to vote for him a few days ago, and now he is trying to get Putin on his side. It stinks of desperation.
As I have said before, much better to try and improve the relationship between the West and Russia, than to be on a constant threat of a WW3.
/// Putin......the man that ordered the annexation of part of the Ukraine, and is now busy helping his blood-thirsty mate, Assad, with bombing women and children in Syria. ///

Are not men also bombed?

Don't forget mikey, 'male lives matter'.
Question Author
It would be even better if someone told Putin to stop bombing innocent women and children in Syria. He is propping up a demonic regime and its not acceptable that Trump should be ignoring that and trying to pretend that he is some kind of close friend.

If this is what will happen if he ever winds the Election, then God help us all.
and of course concerning intervention and devastation to other countries the USA is all goodness and light ???

AOG....did you watch CH4 News last night ?

Putin are just a blood-thirsty butcher, and Trump should be telling him that, not trying to curry favour with them.
Has Obama called Putin a 'blood-thirsty butcher'?
The tragedy that is Syria is more the United States fault than Russias.
Yet you believe the opposite.

So you cannot really blame the American public for believing the rubbish that Trump is telling them. People believe what they want to believe. Whether that is Putin is a Monster, or that Obama is weak.

I hate to bring this up, but Syria is a war zone and unfortunately innocents are bound to suffer, as did innocent men, women and children during the bombings of WW2.

But then in those days there was no Channel four news or BBC to bring selective images to our eyes, in fact in those far off days we didn't show such things for moral purposes.
// in fact in those far off days we didn't show such things for moral purposes.//

Some would argue that hiding the full horror of war, is itself immoral.

Anyhow, in WWII, the horrors were censorred from us for morale and propaganda reasons, not out of decency.
Trump does get some unfair criticism though , mikey ... wouldn't you agree?

I mean Bill Clinton recently said that Trump's slogan 'Make America Great Again'
is racist ... pathetic isn't it?

Question Author
Talbot....no I wouldn't agree. Trumps grasp of international affairs is almost non-existent, as the link provided by me at the top of the page will attest.

He quite clearly said that " Putin was a Leader far more then our president"

Trumps ignorance is breath-taking. But I can't remember a time when a American Presidential candidate won by heaping praise on Russia, so his judgement must be questioned as well as his ignorance.
Mikey,
Part of the reason that the Syrian War has dragged on so long is due to Obama's lack of leadership. He has been a lame duck for most of his second term. I cannot judge how Putin's Presidency is going, but it is hard to argue that Obama's has been a great success.
Question Author
I am not going to disagree much with you there Gromit, but Obama is not the only player in this affair. We have an organisation already set up, just to deal with situations like Syria, called the UN. From what I can see, its just some kind of bloated talking-shop, instead or a pro-active player.

I wonder what some of Trumps supporters here on AB, like AOG and TTT think about his latest blunder ?

/// I wonder what some of Trumps supporters here on AB, like AOG and TTT think about his latest blunder ? ///

Who said I was a supporter?

But unlike your far-left reasoning, I am not afraid to level my support if needed on certain issues no matter who voice them.

Whereas you will issue your regular insulting worded posts against anyone or anything that is opposite to your leftist agenda.
If Putin is Trump's sort of leader, then America had better watch out for the future of, among other things, the future of LGBT rights, the future of a constitution that protects against long-serving presidents holding a monopoly on power, and the freedom of political and media opposition. On some of these things America isn't necessarily a shining light either, but at least America has been moving in the right direction; under Putin, Russia has been moving backwards remarkably quickly.
Bunkum of course, but the really worrying thing is that a "serious" presidential candidate thinks that promoting this tosh might do him good, and even more worrying that he might be right to think that
Question Author
AOG....

mikey4444

/// Tell me AOG....if you were an American, and had the right to vote, would you vote for Trump ? ///

Not an ideal choice but compared to that Clinton woman, their is no contest.
