She's 100% fruit-loop.
Fried Mars Bar more like.
Jimmy, fruit loop, fried mars bar !!!!!! Sensible discussion boys. LOL
She said Brexit hasn’t happened, and hasn’t even begun yet. She said that the situation will depend on what type of Brexit we end up with. I am not a fan of hers, but can’t see a lot wrong in that. Certainly far more sensible than assuming post-Brexit will be the same as post-referendum.

well anne, she acts like half a comedy double act so that's the level of our discussions.

Yes Garaman, she also declared brexit a disaster for the economy. So far there seems to be no such prediction from the economists.
All uncertainty leads to an economic cost, but the gain of control of one's own nation is well worth it. Plus, once things become clearer, the economy catches up again. One saw this occurring post referendum, where the markets merely dipped a bit and then recovered; and similar will occur post Brexit because that's the sort of thing that always happens. Investors get spooked, hold off until they've watched for a bit, and do the new SWOT analysis related to investing here.
Brexit will be okay.

If we negotiate hard enough, we should be able to secure favourable trade arrangements. Err ...

... like the ones we've already got.

:o/

Yes, Brexit will be deemed a success if we manage to secure the position we already had before the vote.
I actually think it will be a success if we can achieve the prosperity we have at the moment. But it's a BIG 'if'.
Whatever happened to the markets around the referendum was purely based on sentiment. What happens in the long term after Brexit will be based on results. They are quite different things. We might be far better off, and let’s hope we will be, but some seem to think it is a done deal that we will be, and it isn’t.
I don't doubt that it's possible to make an economic success of Brexit, although the question will always be there that, maybe, things would have been better or essentially the same without all this fuss. But even if not, it was always about the implied direction of the country for me. Despite what some may say, I can't yet see Brexit as being another other than a step backwards towards a Britain as it saw itself in the past, and anyway away from the rest of the world. I obviously hope that this is merely paranoia on my part; at any rate, until we see what our representatives have in mind for the negotiations, it's legitimate to be concerned about what Brexit will mean in practice. We simply have no idea. Neither, though, does the government entrusted to carry out the decision of the referendum, it seems.
If she can convince the Scots that Brexit is a bad thing for Scotland she will have laid the foundation for another referendum on Scotland's independence.
Everybody ignores Switzerland, because they never wanted to join the EU party. They are the weird little country, sitting there on their own, while everyone else plays together.

They do fine, because they have a lot of money, and a small population.

I suspect that we will end up like a poor version of Switzerland, sitting here on our own, saying We don't need you lot, because we have, err ... not enough money, not enough land, and a huge overpopulation.

Err ...
