The Result Of Too Much Right-On Liberalism?
76 Answers
The loud mouthed self righteous Metropolitan 'elite' have for too long been able to inflict their minority views on the much larger populous, blasting those that disagree as Racists, Little Englanders and a host of other demeaning insults. Now across Europe we are seeing a worrying rise of the far right (and left).
Is it about time we put the right-on brigade in their place and put policies in place that reflect the views of the majority not a minority? OK, it means removing the Liberal 'elite' from the Police, Civil Service, Judiciary, the BBC and other such institutions and replacing them proportionality with people that represent the masses but surely that is preferable to the alternative?

Millions and millions of people (i.e. those already described here by others) will be happy that the centre-ground is being used as they way forwards. Yes, there will be natural deviations left- and rightwards on occasions but broadly-speaking, no-one wishes for any sort of extreme political solution who would not see that there would be greater problems created in the future by having such.

TTT - //Andy are you seriously saying that islamisation is anything other than "doom and gloom"? //
I am saying that the scaremongers and relentlessly miserable racists who pedal the nonsense of Islamisation are doom and gloom, of course they are, it's their default position.
But in reality 'Islamisation' is a media construct, it does not exist.
I fully expect to be shouted down by any of the resident 'experts' - and I shall as I have advised, be happy to ignore their posts.

andy: who are the "relentlessly miserable racists" - those that disagree with beheadings/stonings of apostates? those that do not agree that the purpose of gays is to verify gravity? Those that do not riot for their right to beat their wives? those that do not agree that the punishment for being raped is to be stoned to death? well count me as one then!

Calm down for heaven's sake!
No right-thinking person would ever consider those instances to be acceptable for a moment, but that is not the point I am making - and you have debated with me long enough to be fully aware of that.
No-one would think that the excesses of Islamic bigotry are acceptable - but that does not mean that people who think that all Muslims support and agree with them are not relentlessly miserable racists - they clearly are!

/// Andy has a good point here. The first thing the Nazis did when they seized power in the 30's, was to stop all free speech. They then went on to murder all those who didn't keep quiet. ///
Wow that is rich coming from the Left on this site who constantly try to stop all free speech, they would also like to ban the Mail and The Express if they could.
In fact they would like to ban me if they could, or at least the threads that I choose to enter for debate, just look what they did to my Turban thread, which was still going strong when I left it yesterday, but had disappeared by this morning.

TTT - //Calm down yourself, from the impression you give Andy anyone who doesn't believe that Islam is made up of fluffy bunny wonder Muslims is a "relentlessly miserable racist", you can't have it both ways. //
The tendency to talk, and operate in extremes, is yours, not mine.
I don't agree with your point at all.
My position is that the average Muslim, which is 99.9% of them, has no truck with extremism, and the average UK citizen, which is 99.9% of them also, feels exactly the same.
The notion that everyone must think one thing or the other is simply not based on the way people actually think - only in the way the media tells them they think, which of course does not make it true.

I think that youngmafbog's idea for dealing with the rise of the far right is ridiculous.
Therefore, I've ridiculed it.
It has no merit.
What is your opinion on the proposed idea? I think that would expand the debate, rather than what you're doing at the moment, which looks like some kind of score-keeping.

And you have evidence for this observation? I have never read of anyone of any persuasion suggesting that any paper is banned anywhere - have you?

That presupposes that a) the Moderator (or the ED!) who took down your thread is a 'left-winger', and b) that they took down the thread for 'left-wing reasons' - both of which are utterly baseless accusations.
I think your persecution complex is getting out of hand again.

/// The big difference between left wing extremists and right wing extremists, is that on the far left, you get over-educated intellectuals who think that simple problems have complex solutions, and on the far right, you have under-educated people who think that complex problems have simple solutions. ///
I have never read such a pompous superiority post as this one.
Had one said that whites are more educated than blacks then that would be certainly racist.
So how dare you suggest that the ordinary man or woman who can see what is happening to their country and are prepared to demonstrate over the matter, are uneducated.
Perhaps it may be the other way round those Far-Lefties have not got a mind of their own, but have been brain washed by their peers.
Or it could be that the "over-educated intellectuals" are not effected by the problems that Multi-Racialism and Multiculturalism has had on the ordinary "under-educated people"?

AOG...you seem to have a highly developed sense of a persecution complex !
Nowhere have I suggest the DM or the Express should be banned.
Neither have I ever suggested that you should be banned. I have no idea what your Turban thread was all about, as I didn't read it, and so consequently didn't have a hand in its removal.
Sometimes people disagree with you. They frequently disagree with me but I am a supporter of free speech, so am prepared to put up with comments made against me, as long as they don't transgress this sites rules.
To be frank...Stop being a martyr.

Yes...true. But I didn't.
And it's true. The Far Right are way over-represented with people who need Spellcheck to write their surnames, and the Far Left is way over-represented by those who use too many theoreticals and abstracts to solve real world problems.
By the way - someone from the Far Right would read that last sentence, and think that theoreticals are places where plays and musicals are performed.
Coz they're thick.

Oh by the way AOG, when you write:

...in relation to this thread, which is about Far Right Hitler-worshipping neo-Nazis, it kinda shines a light on your mindset.
Your pinafore is showing.
