…. the 2010 census indicates a figure of 45,284,752 people of African descent living in the US. That suggests that most of them, by an enormous majority, have avoided being killed by police so the question is very clearly over-dramatized - and that's putting it mildly!

The video is unclear. What was said? Did the man ignore police instructions? Did he attempt to reach into his car? I don’t know.

Maybe I'm missing the point here and I'll probably find that out, but is it not the simple fact that people, whatever colour they are, are regularly shot by American police for no good reason. Why is that not shocking to us? It is to me!

DB, if they find PCP in his system (I presume they can test for that) it will certainly have a huge effect on the outcome of any investigation.


The end result of this incident however based purely on what I have seen and read should not have been the death of this man.
