JCB isn't really a British Company it is a Global Company. The EU is fairly irrelevent to its worldwide operations. While the EU opens up a market to many businesses, JCB is bigger than just the European market. So I can see why they are not Europhiles.

The CBI has always been a pointless organisation. It is in effect just a lobbying group on behalf of business. But business permiates every political party anyway, so surplus to requirements.

I agree, as it says in the article " like it or not the days of cartel lobbying in Brussels by big business will be over"
