The main concern for the Republican party now is that not only will they not have a President but are on course to lose control of Congress as well!
Trump has been the worst thing that has ever happened to them and their only concern now is damage limitation.
It is not the Republican Party who will vote for him for President (They already did that) but the electorate and who knows how they will vote in the secrecy of the ballot box. Perhaps you should let your mates down the Labour know that too.
What's with all this obsession lately with sticking exactly to the parameters of a question? I had thought that discussions allowed some degree of flexibility.
You may be right there -- presumably the tactic against subject-changing from the "right" people is just to ignore it. I wish t would stop. A discussion isn't a discussion if there's no room for expanding on a point or drawing analogy.

then I think the comment " you said that last time Mikey about the Tories and it didnt happen" .... is a relevant comment. As there is an implication that the hoped-for event will not occur again. Does Mikey's past performance have any er relevance to future prediction ?
