The lack of welcome in the country, by which I mean the is why the rhetoric between England and Scotland has risen over the years as well as the political nonsense, you don't need to be a Pole of other nationality to feel unwelcome in Britain these days.
I voted leave for many many reasons, not a single one of then was to do with racism but one was the unsustainability of uncontrolled immigration not just in the UK but across Europe. Shengen had many good concepts but in reality it's been a disaster!
What makes the UK a more extreme view is the way the welfare state works, it's a very left wing based model and that means people can just turn up and get handed whatever they need on a plate. It one of the reason those of our own citizens a punished by being unable to get the help they need and whats broken the country and helping break Europe.
