I wonder if all you leave voters are happy now that the cost of every thing is rising and will continue to do so.

Do you have any evidence that 'everything is rising and will continue to do so'?
Like what?
marmite !!
ooooo don't forget marmite went up.

Sorry but I voted to remain but you need to move on malagabob it's happened now.
I will be when the group of those who voted to remain stop whinging about the democratic result and stop demanding another vote. Democracy spoke one side lost the other won. How it pans out in the end we won't know for a while but the decision is made, deal with it
Some might say that greedy opportunists will seize any chance to bump up prices and make a quick killing regardless of the farcical outcomes of votes.
Bit pointless for either 'side' to gloat/say 'told you so'. The vote is over. The public made a decision. Best to just make the best of our Brexit arrangements.
The value of the pound has tumbled, imports are more expensive, its a fact that costs have risen and will continue to do so. Some retailers will hold their prices for a while but they won't be able to do that for long. More evidence soon Zac!
Pesonally not noticed prices have risen. Dont know how you can say "and will continue to do so". Nobdy knows what the future holds.

― Winston S. Churchill

Cheer up!!
Maydup, whilst I respect your opinion, it doesn't constitute 'evidence' that everything (a key word) has and will continue to rise.

BTW, I voted remain.
What about dropping that awful word brexit ,change it to letsgetonwithitnow
I also wish we'd just get on with it. We managed just as well before we joined the common market. Some of the remainers seem to think we're breaking away from a mother that's cared for us since time immemorial.
Oh cheer up! The only thing that has gone up so far is marmite! LOL
I wrote this in response to the kids of a couple of friends a few days after the referendum and the murder of Jo Cox, it's still releveant.

"Don't call people racist because they fear the massive uncontrolled influx of people from other nations when all the majority of the nation does is welcome people to the fold.

Don't call people bad winners because Nigel Farage is a clown who used a political movement to suit his own politics and who will disappear when this all blows over.

Don't make a martyr out of a hard working, good, honest woman who happened to get in the way of a psychopath.

Don't call people bad winners when those of us who think beyond the face of the rhetoric realise that whomever takes on the role picks up a poisoned chalice that ends careers because Cameron chickened out.

Don't call people bad winners when the far right of Europe were already on the rise because they too are fed up of the BS and rhetoric. Look deeper across Europe at the dissatisfaction and you see a set of deep-seated issues across the whole continent.

Don't mouth off on Facebook or any other social media without expectation of a response because you don't have the democratic right to monopolise social media to suit your ends.

Don't start raising new petitions to start the process off again under some half ar$ed rule because all you do is undermine the democracy our forefathers and ancestors built over hundreds of years.

Don't call people bad winners because they have concerns over the people who wanted this chance to speak, to have their voices heard about the way forwards, there are no anti establishment politicians because each and every one of them are interested in themselves nothing more nothing less!!!

Don't call people bad winners, just call them worried about the future of our nation.

Ps.... I used people because some need to remember that people voted, ordinary individuals worried about their futures. My ballot paper went in blank. I protest at the fact the last 20 odd years of spineless leaders: Major, Blair, Brown and Cameron acquiesced to the Euro-Mandarins and brought us to a point where the question became necessary, a question we should never have had need to be asked.
They must really value you as a role model. Are you related to Ernie Wise?
As I understand it, we've mostly been protected from price rises so far because companies buy their dollars and/ or submit their import orders months in advance a lot of the time, so many of the products we buy from overseas were bought using dollars at April prices. A few luxury goods (and marmite and pot noodles) might have gone up, but the rest of the price rises will hit later, if at all.

Still, a ~17% drop in the value of the pound is going to be felt sooner or later. At that point, we might see more than a little "Bregret", but ... well, I'm as Remainer as they come on this site, but a tough few years is simply not enough to go on to "regret" a decision that was meant to be about the future of this country for decades.
im happy my mortgage has gone down £10 a month
Did you hear about the person who won a years supply of marmite. He received one jar.
^ the runner up got two years supply of marmite
