Well this got interesting, did Jim360 hang around with the popcorn supplies? I see Mikey flounced early. What changed yesterday was the idea that the will of us, the electorate, was the over riding authority in the UK, we are offered a vote, we vote and expect the results of that vote to be respected. What happens now? Do we ask the lawyers and the high court to...

The government distributed a tax payer funded leaflet at a cost of £9million
that stated that the result would be followed by ministers. "The referendum on June 23rd is your chance to decide if we should remain in the European Union. This is your Decision. The Government will implement your decision".
That is what it said. None of the remainiacs were disassociating themselves from this statement at the time. But now they have suddenly the light, or are awarding themselves the trait of being "enlightened" haha. These are the people who see no danger in letting lawyers (who obviously don't read Government leaflets) hijack democracy. Perhaps they didn't read the leaflet because they knew they didn't have to. Parliament passed the decision to the people. The people decided. Nice little earner for the legal vultures though. If Brexit is halted the people of Britain will have had democracy snatched from them by an unholy alliance of diehard remainiacs, a fund manager, an unelected judiciary and the House of Lords.

/// Yes, it was a flawed referendum question really. 'Out' can take many forms. One possible outcome is we leave the EU but still allow free trade, participate in the single market, follow many of the existing rules, keep EU laws and still pay something in. It would be 'out' but I doubt many Brexiters would be happy. ///
No the question was not flawed, it was a simple "Stay in" or "Come out", and the majority voted out, no ifs, no buts.
We had had enough of Cameron's negotiations, if one says "out" they want out, with no strings attached.

/// I might have guessed which paranoid poster would have had the most to say on it. You haven't disappointed TTT. ///
Are you aware that name calling will not be tolerated on AB.
Spare Ed, came on here the other day to announce that 'anti-British' 'Traitor' etc, name calling that won't now be tolerated, I have also suggested that 'Racist' and any of the phobics will also be added to the list.

One can see how Trump has risen to almost becoming the President of the USA.
People are getting fed up with the establishment in the US, and Trump gives them a new hope.
They say when the US sneezes we in the UK catch a cold, so could we see the same thing happening in the UK, with perhaps our Nigel at the helm?

Add "those dumb enough" to your list, Pike (I mean Zacs-Master.
/// AOG, you do well to liken Farage to Trump. They both make 'Jam tomorrow' promises which they have no idea how to deliver and those dumb enough not to read behind the soundbites fall for it. ///
You or anyone else do not know what Trump might do if he becomes President, those "Jam tomorrow promises" may turn out to be "Caviare today for real".
As regards Farage his were not "Jam tomorrow promises", he actually delivered and forced Cameron to give us a referendum.
