Oooh I just love being a Scot

///But there is also a premium to be paid by the rest of the UK for sustaining Scotland’s finances. The deal struck recently between the SNP and the Treasury means that income taxpayers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will continue to subsidise Scotland to the tune of billions of pounds in the coming years despite the transfer of fiscal powers.///

I've put up links a few times so now do your own Googling.
Yes please. Give us a vote.
// it seems strange that the then leaders of the three major parties in Westminster were so keen to keep Scotland as part of the country. I'd love to know why they weren't rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of losing such a drain on the nation's resources. //

Agreed...we don't understand why either. But then again they didn't understand that we wanted out of the pyramid scheme. So perhaps the elite ruling classes are out of touch with popular opinion just as close to home.

Sorry... was going to add- they are always happy to waste taxpayers money. It's power they want.
Naomi. My oft asked questioni is. Why are politicians and political leaders anxious for Scotland to remain in the UK ? I have yet to receive a reply from any aber !!!!!
Perhaps we have not got the right politicians and political leaders.
Well Togo....... At least you had a go answering the question :-)
The actions of one individual do not necessarily reflect the whole country. Nothing is stopping Scotland applying to secede from the union if they wish, so there is no, "letting them go". But I hardly think wanting to break up the UK is an appropriate response to her causing trouble.
