\\\Babies cry when they are hungry, and they don't stop until they are fed. \\
Maybe, but they cry for many other reasons...and i ask again....how did mother know that "little Evie" was crying because she was hungry. She may have had earache, colic, nappy needed changing...etc.
\\\\Do you have children Sqad? \\\
Have a guess. //
I think you do - but you don't appear to have grasped the most obvious lesson about new-born babies - the first thing you do when they are hungry is offer them some milk. If they stop crying, it's because they were hungry, if not, then move on to other logical causes, such as the ones you mentioned.
But at that age, you can take an educated guess that the baby is crying because she is hungry, and that appears to have been the case.
If the mother had sat there for ten minutes with the baby getting louder and louder while she went through your list of probable causes, no doubt the people on the next table would have moaned about that as well!
