America voted according to its accepted system, so no problem. Good for Boris in his bridge-building efforts. He and Trump will probably get on quite well. Yes, end all the whingeing re: Brexit and this result. Never known it go on so long, what is up with people? It's happened, get on with it. I've been upset at the result of elections before, as have millions of others.
Personally thinking of writing to Trump to say 'Ta' for enriching me (collected my winnings from the bookie's today :)).

It seems just a little hypocritical, though, to tell people to stop the whinging now. After all, wasn't whinging about the (previous) current state of politics basically what got us here in the first place?
Obviously we shouldn't whinge for too long. Instead, those who aren't happy at this result have to work out what to do to stop it from happening again (without, of course, destroying the very idea of democracy). Still, no-one should just lie down and accept this result quietly if they aren't happy about it.
