He is saying what he disagrees with and does not want for his country. I have to be short and I may not be able to get back to answer. :(

The election in March looks set to be very close. One wonders, with interest, if Wilders' PVV party prevails, whether he will renege on some of his pledges.

Much has been said on here and in the media, regarding the numerous U-turns by Trump. Will Wilders ban the Koran for example? Something tells me that he means business.

As he has stated in the past, it is not Muslims he dislikes, it is Islam itself which of course means 'submission'.

Wilders is understandably irked and he should be free to express his desire for the country that he is proud of, not to submit to a totalitarian theology.

Love Wilders, but DON'T ban him to ban the Koran, AgChristie, even though it meets all the standards for hate speech under Dutch (or any other hate speech) law. Ought to be compulsory for non-Muslims to read it and see the bile spilt out page after page against (more or less in order) Jews, Chjristians and polytheists, then anyone else who doesn't accept the teachings of the Prophet.

Should those distributing this book be prosecuted for spreading racial hatred and incitement to violence, just as anyone else would be found peddling literature containing similar categorical statements?

Good question and one that a lot of people would agree that it should. However, most people are handicapped in that they are the Tommy Robinson's of this world i.e people of limited influence.

This is why the likes of Wilders deserves respect and courage to tackle a serious problem in the face of a considerable threat to his own welfare.

Of course, the Koran is a religious holy book and to ban it would be unthinkable in most ruling elites. Mustn't cause offence must we despite the hateful sentiments contained within.

Oh boy! would that be something, - a private individual (with deep pockets) taking out a prosecution of an individual for distributing the Koran as a book that incites racial hatred and violence, and hiring the services of a top-fight British barrister to prosecute?
It would be cause celebre of the century.
