You don’t have to belong to a particular political party, or have particularly aligned political ideas in order to be qualified to be a bigoted prat with a social media account.

Today it was people having a go at Kate Bush; tomorrow they’ll be having a go at Judy Dench for being a socialist.

If you are spending time picking out the nastiness that appears motivated by a political position you don’t agree with, then you are missing the point of the nastiness in the first place.
