Could Donald Trump Be A Spy?
I know it sounds like something out of a movie but I've thought it for a while, and now that apparently the Russians were involved in his win it may be the case. If he is a foreign spy what does this mean for the world once he is sworn in as the most powerful person on the planet?

The succession of the King of Sparta ( Acis II I think) was interrupted because the father was said to be the Athenian Alcibiades - and ALcibiades was nothing like a gay boy if you get my meaning.
There was a Fransh President called Patrick McMahon - but he was one of the those funny pople who have English names ( Jack Lang, Michael Haynsworth who swear they are Fransh and say their names like Shag Long et Mishell Ine-svort)
Ahmed Chalabi ( https:/ /en.wik ipedia. org/wik i/Ahmed _Chalab i ) was a big player in Iraq after liberation by the Land of the Free ( America ) - but then was unmasked as a Iranian agent. Silly Boy he sent a message to his Iranian puppet masters " the Americans say they are reading these despatches but I dont think that can be true". It was
apparently lesson 1 in Being a Spy - dont use a compromised message system to say the system may be comprpomised
well that is a start
and I havent even mentioned the Cambridge Spies ( five at least )

What a load of cobblers - and no link to even attempt to support it.

Let's face it: a government that murders its own people, organised industrial-scale cheating in sport and then denies it, invades its neighbours and then denies it, has run illegal agents in the US for years, has a reputation for cyber warfare, it's hardly surprising.
I hope the CIA does release the evidence, although if you presented them with a smoking gun they'd say it was a conspiracy against them.

Some amusing - with hindsight - comments at that link!
That was stargazing, though: this is about what is happening now.
I seriously don't think Trump is any sort of spy. But Hillary was right: the Russians would like a poodle in the US kennel. We don't, at the moment, have serious or responsible people heading into many of the top US government posts, and consequently I think we are in for a rocky ride for a while. Yesterday Trump appointed an Oklahoma senator currently suing the Environmental Protection Agency - as head of the EPA.
And rumours are he is about to appoint, or maybe even already has appointed, the CEO of Exxon Mobil as Secretary of State.

thank you DB
the spartans didnt write much
( other people wrote the histories )
" Agis left a son, Leotychides, who however was excluded from the throne, as there was some suspicion with regard to his legitimacy. While Alcibiades was at Sparta he made Agis his enemy. Later writers assign as a reason that Agis suspected Alcibiades of having slept with his queen, Timaea (and fathered Leotychides). It was probably at the suggestion of Agis that orders were sent out to Astyochus to put him to death. Alcibiades however received warning (according to some accounts from Timaea herself), and evaded the Spartans."

Hmmm, not sure about that Divebuddy.
A lot of "the Spartans were gay" stuff is modern revisionism based solely it would seem on the notion that they were engaged in manly pursuits, and fought together.
Women were very powerful figures as a matter of fact in Spartan society and although theyu did not go to war they played a much more active role in society than their Athenian counrterparts, who were largely closeted away.
No doubt there was homosexuality in Sparta but the idea that the whole Spartan ethos was based on some sort of homoeroticism has, I believe, nothing serious to back it up.
It's also not true that Spartans married people they had never seen before: far from it, even if many marriages were at the very least "suggested" by the father (common enough practice the world over in the past, and still today of course). Sparta was a small place, and boys and girls grew up together and most would have known or seen each other many times.
It's even been suggested that lesbianism must have been rife amongst the wives, due to their menfolk being away on military service so much, but that also sounds like speculation.

To which you could add:
11. He appoints a "friend" of Putin as Secretary of State (!)
I still don't think Trump is a spy, though. He doesn't need to be. The "spies" will have been the Russian ones doing their best to help him into office.
What will probably do for their aspirations is their complete lack of understanding of US politics. They think they are getting a patsy, and they may well be, but Trump won't have it all his own way
