It wasn't all that long ago that Scotland was largely in favour of the Tory Party. Maybe an eternity in political terms. But then basically Thatcher happened, and it's pretty clear that, for at least some Scots, memories or stories of her premiership will take ages to get over.
Shortly before the Scotland referendum, someone had drawn a chalk mural of Thatcher, just a little up the hill from the Meadows towards town, with the delightful caption "feel free to spit on her face". I didn't take the opportunity myself, but it's a pretty low blow to write or do something like that.
But anyway. SNP candidates standing in English constituencies would be interesting. I suspect it would be a long game, though, as eg the first time round it's hard to see their campaign getting too many results from a start of exactly no support at all. And then by the second time, we'd be out of the EU anyway, and a pro-EU party would, I'd have thought, struggle in England under those circumstances.

The word you are after is SCOTs - 1 T!
You can have the pointless little harridan, Scotland would be better off without her and her own brand of cronyism. As a lefties wet dream, I'm sure if the Lefties wanted a far left leader that wasn't Jezza, I'm sure she'd jump for the price of a new referendum.
She appeals because at source a large swathe of Scots will vote for the left because of the incessant hatred of the Tories, you have Thatcher to thank for that. Bottom line though is more than 50% (and increasing 57-58% now) are happy in the union, whatever the brexit scenarios. She needs to shut up and concentrate on what she was elected for, domestic issues in Scotland.

Ichkeria...ignore Baldric...he has up to his old tricks here.
Thanks Ummm....I have made this clear on many previous occasions. I was born in London, moved to West Somerset at about the age of 9 and then moved permanently to Wales when I was 15/16.
I don't expect to have to make this clear again !
But my previous place of abode isn't relevant in any way at all.
