A British lorry driver has set up a fund for the family of Lukasz Urban, the Polish truck driver murdered by the madman who subsequently drove the vehicle into a Berlin Christmas Market.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It's probably going to be a good cause (as would any fund for any victims of this atrocity) but given the confusion over events and different stories issued by the police and news outlets in the first hours and days some might want to wait a bit until they feel there is more certainty about what happened.
I haven't seen the latest news yet. If it has been established beyond reasonable doubt that his identity has been confirmed 100%, he was working legally, he was not complicit in any way in the handing over of the lorry, and he was killed by the murderer (not sure madman is the best term) then that is fine for me- particularly if it is known he stayed in there in order to stop the murderer and try to save lives.
I know naomi didn't want a discussion but I wanted to say that I think that if this had happened here there would have been the same desire to raise funds (in fact the person organising this appeal is British according to naomi) given the bravery it seems was shown by this driver who seems to have lost his life trying to save lives of others based on all the evidence so far
