Even his own Party is rounding on Trump and are asking very awkward questions, like what did he know and when did he know it ?

Prresident Trump's mockery of his own intelligence services is coming back to bite him on the behind, as anyone who knows anything about politics - which seems to be anyone except the President - new it would.
The irony of Mr Trump campaigning and reading out large chunks of Mrs Clinton's private e-mails and saying gleefully that he 'loves Wikileaks' sees him hoist by his own petard, as the Whitehouse makes a sieve look like his Mexican wall in terms of solidarity!
Now his own Vice President has been made to look a fool because he went on national television to defend General Flynn, having not been told by the President, that his own security services had listened in to General Flynn discussing sanctions with the Russian ambassador.
You could be kind, and say that General Flynn was colossally naïve in imagining that intelligence operatives whose job involves listening to phone calls, were not going to be listening to his phone calls.
The President has no such get-out - he was told what was going on, he did not advice his VP, and he didn't act until The Washington Post exposed his duplicity.
It is clearer every day that President Trump never was, and never will be equipped for the machinations of Capital Hill. He is hugely out of his depth, and sinking deeper every day.
Has he been on TwitFace to call the general a 'so-called / mediocre' (delete as appropriate) Security Advisor yet?

Yes, Jon Sopel said Washington was leaking like a sieve and the anti-Trump newspapers were getting daily briefings.
People need to ask themselves why.
I think you'll find it's a battle between those who have vowed to 'drain the swamp' and those who are heavily invested in that swamp.
I know which side I'm on.

Smajenko - I have said since before Donald Trump was elected that he will try and run The White House like he runs Trump Tower, and he can't because it's not.
And sure enough, my predication (hardly rocket science!) has come true.
What President Trump singularly fails to grasp is that the White House structure is in place, and has been for generations, and he is the new kid who has to fit in.

Andy....as each day dawns, Trump is increasingly showing himself up to be entirely unsuitable for the job as POTUS.
Despite his much-vaunted "business sense" the job is clearly
way beyond him.
I can't recall any situation in the past 50 years, where a Presidency has fallen into complete chaos, so soon after its started. Its beginning to resemble the last days of Nixon, and all of this in a few weeks.

As I have reported on here , Trump inherited a huge fortune from his father, the amount ($ millions or billions) does not matter. What does matter is that all financial sources agree that he has lost between 50 and 75% of what it would have been worth if he had just invested it in stock funds rather than run his own businesses .
He is NOT a successful business man he inherited a huge fortune and lost most of it by poor business skills, 5 of his casinos have gone bankrupt for example.( links previously posted see my profile!)

Eddie....you are right !
People seem to have forgotten the Trump University !

"Trump University was also the subject of two class action lawsuits in federal court. The lawsuits centered around allegations that Trump University defrauded its students by using misleading marketing practices and engaging in aggressive sales tactics. The company and the lawsuits against it received renewed interest due to Trump's candidacy in the 2016 presidential election. Trump settled all three lawsuits in November 2016, after being elected to the presidency, for a total of $25 million"

naomi, yes I agree 100% . Trump has many business interests. The point I was making ,which is confirmed by many financial institutions is that had he simply invested his inheritance in stock funds rather than using it for his businesses he would now be worth 2 to 5 times as much. (impossible to get accurate figures hence the range)
If that is how a successful businessman is defined then yes, he is successful .
