What has always amazes me about these kind of Christians, is how obsessed they are about what people do in the bedroom ?

In Britain, another load of hot air has just been expelled over the issue of gay marriage at the General Synod. And yet, there is growing evidence that when gay clergy has turned out to be dangerous perverts, the Church of England turns a blind eye and tries to cover the situations up !

LOL...depends what you mean by perverts, to many it may mean disgust, to others it means unforgettable pleasure.Perhaps the church realises that the pervert pews are full and there is no room for homosexuals, as some people still regard homosexuality as a perversion (not me of course)

But yes......good result for homosexuality in our more enlightened times.

Sqad....I was referring specifically to the case of John Smyth QC, an affair that we have discussed on here many times in the past. He was and is a pervert, and the Church protected him.

She clearly denied them flowers because of her interpretation of her christian values.
But the law of the land supersedes biblical law. So she will lose the case and pay damages.

People tend to quote scropture to justify bad behaviour, and this is just another instance of that.

Try as I might I find it difficult to summon up much sympathy with the florist. There are many ways to covertly discriminate whilst making it virtually impossible to prove that you have done so.

Why don't you get of the fence Islay, you want to be a supporter of gay rights but at the same time you seem to want to block out the fact that many, many Muslims are anti gay and anti gay because of their religious beliefs ... why so when it is abundantly clear this is so?

I agree that there are hardcore Muslim like IS who disagree with homosexuality and I have never backed them or agreed with them.
What I disagree with is this constant need by many on here to constantly blame minorities for all that is wrong in this world - it is sickening and quite frankly frightening!
