The reason I ask is that immigrants have been wrecking the place for a fortnight, yet I haven't heard it mentioned on the Beeb.

Can't help thinking this should have been covered rather more extensively.

Got a Link?

Naturally, I can't monitor it 24/7. But, for instance, the Today (flagship News) programme had 'Lets poke fun at Trump' as it's headline news this morning. Followed by lefty botox, followed by made up story about immigrants getting kicked out of Britain post-Brexit. Then more lefty botox followed by a fairy tale about the Islamic Enlightenment? (honest)

Sure haven't got a BBC one for you, Baldric. ;)

It's been on the news all week. France 24 continues to broadcast throughout the mayhem ;-)
You're doing a fine job tho. Don't give up

I'll take that as a 'NO' then.
So it would appear that the BBC has covered this after all !
Lucy Williamson (@Lucywilliamson) is the BBC's correspondent in Paris.
Can I have best answer :-)

If you're talking to me, Baldric, I saw that Douglas had put up a link to the riots. Did you want me to put up a different one?

Is France24 part of the BBC, Ichikeria? If not, what is the relevance.
The relevant bits were: link to BBC report and name of BBC correspondent. Of secondary relevance: France 24 is based in the war torn French capital and have not yet been evacuated :-)

'So it would appear that the BBC has covered this after all'

If you count a 5 day old report tucked away on the BBC Europe backwater, yes mikey.
It would appear that this thread should stutter to a halt, now that the OP has been answered correctly !

War torn. You've got that right, Ichikeria. 50% of the French Army have been deployed on the streets of Paris.
Rather more than they managed in two world wars.
Can't help thinking this should have been covered rather more extensively.
Some hope mikey: I suspect we're just warming up :-)
I've done my it tho so I'll exit stage left (geddit?)
'Bit'
(Exit, chased by a Breitbart bear)
Ichy....yeah...me too !
On the red stripe at the top of the BBC site, is the word NEWS an under it there are several categories, - 'Home, Word, UK' etc. for news from France you may be on the wrong section.

I'm glad you've both run away as you've added nothing of value to the thread. I was well aware of a report hidden on the BBC Europe site.
I'm asking why this hasn't been covered by the BBC News. After all, they have 3,500 journalists on the payroll. I'm suggesting they have an agenda that is endangering members of the British public.
