'It should be considered that those that rejoice in the death of these terrorist are just as bad as the terrorists they detest!'

Are you (and AH) seriously equating terrorists with people who celebrate terrorists deaths?
Doc Martyr?
What is the difference ? there are some on here that wish death to the terrorists and the terrorists wish death to some on here?
I see many obvious differences such as one is a terrorist and the other.....isn't.
Zacs-Master - //Are you (and AH) seriously equating terrorists with people who celebrate terrorists deaths?

In my view, that is an illogical leap to an unsustainable conclusion.

Speaking personally, does rejoicing in the death in the same way as a terrorist does make you the same as a terrorist?

Essentially, no, but I would not wish to share any of the thought processes of people who hold life so cheaply, and live with such hatred of strangers based on fear and paranoia.

So if I can distance myself from the mind of a terrorist by thinking that the violent death of anyone is a sad event, and nothing to be celebrated, than I am delighted to do so.

then how can my comment be 'an illogical leap to an unsustainable conclusion.'?
I can't take pleasure in death, it isn't in my nature.

However I see their demise as an end product of their very bad life choices.
I'm as bad as the terrorists I detest then. YAY !!!
Actual terrorists - kill people
people who rejoice when actual terrorists kill people - not killing people

/// Most people were rejoicing the end of the war.....not Hitler's death per se, although that the two coincided so closely was
fortunate. ///

Was that what you assume or even read in your history books.

I know what we rejoiced, I was there.

Obvious later we did rejoiced VE Day, although the total end of hostilities was VJ Day, but if I remember right that was a little of an anti climax.

AOG - //I know what we rejoiced, I was there. //

You know what you rejoiced. You and your family and friends, and people within sight of you.

But that doesn't make you spokesman for a nation, or a generation, even though you would like to think it does.
Randymarsh - //Actual terrorists - kill people
people who rejoice when actual terrorists kill people - not killing people //

The entire thrust of the debate is that it is not about actions, it is about reactions.
To be fair andy, as the figurehead of the Third Reich, I think it's a reasonable conclusion to think that most people did indeed celebrate Hitler's death.
I don't know why we are giving these scum the publicity they seek, they were evil, the evil pair have been eradicated, Good, they will not kill / Murder anyone else, It's a shame so much money was wasted training the scum.
OMG this argument still going on thought 'nuff had been said hours ....ago..is it not time we just agreed to disagree and move on ?

"It should be considered that those that rejoice in the death of these terrorist are just as bad as the terrorists they detest! "

Actual terrorists - kill people
People who rejoice at death of terrorists - kill no one
one is worse than the other.

After reading some posts regarding our troops being on the same level as these murderous killers of innocent women and children, strengthens my view that we have some budding traitors in our midst.
