It's all down to symmetry: look at any Public Loo (where they still exist) and they are always perfectly symmetrical.

Happy for women to come in if I'm in. Not sure they would be so happy about it if I'm in there taking a dump. At home I'm not allowed to use the bogs upstairs I have to use the one in the lobby (rather unfortunately for the postman as its right by the front door).
