It's here in your favourite rag who are not taking quite such a rabid view as you. It is not banding words there is a huge difference.

jack - I agree he won't struggle.
MacKenzie has built a strong profile for himself as a 'voice of the people'.
His strapline could well be the one awarded to The Mail's Sara Vine - 'Are you thinking what she's thinking?'' - to which I always mentally respond - if ever that day dawns, please kill me quickly!
Mackenzie will take his audience with him, and there will be a tabloid that wants that readership as I have said, my money is on The Mail, where he will fit right in.

anne - //Negations to leave,.......yep sacked. //
No, it's not the same thing.
If Mr Mackenzie had been sacked, the media would have said so.
Being sacked means that you are being dismissed because the company believes you have no comeback, and it is terminating employment with no compensation.
Negotiation's means that your employer is getting rid of you, but it is not terminating your contract with no pay-off, it is going to agree a settlement under the terms of which you will take an agreed payment for signing to say that you will not sue for more, and possibly that you are bound to silence on those terms.

/// To compare a footballer to a drug seller and a gorilla is clearly beyond the pale. ///
This is what Kelvin Mackenzie actually said:
*** Mr Mackenzie also wrote that the only other people who could earn as much as footballers in Liverpool were drug dealers. ***
Regarding the Gorilla comment, I wonder how many apart from family and very close friends knew that, that particular footballer's grandfather was black?
Mikey with your skill at name calling and slanting the truth, have you thought of applying to the Sun for Mackenzie's job?
