// He could be alpha male without being rude and bumptious //
It's the fact that he still feels the need to pull those stupid alpha male moves like that handshake that shows what a joke he is, in my opinion.
You're president of the most powerful nation there mate - that's already enough to make you the alpha male. You don't have to do any other stupid ***. Think about it pillock.

This is interesting...it comes from a longer article about alpha male bosses... http:// www.str engthsp artners hip.com /blog/l eadersh ip-deve lopment s/tamin g-the-5 00-poun d-silve rback-i nfluenc ing-the -alpha- male-bo ss/
// Alpha male bosses are still frequently found in organisations and whether they are aware or unaware of their style and behaviour, their pattern of behaviour and the inevitable outcomes are almost always the same. The way they manage and deal with others leaves people feeling intimidated, demoralised and devalued. Over the course of time, individuals working for this type of boss end up feeling helpless to improve their situation and remove themselves from the source of the distress and unhappiness, a psychological state psychologists call “learned helplessness”. This typically ‘feeds’ the alpha males dictatorial and aggressive style as (s)he has learned to dominate others and get things done through threats, intimidation and control. Like in a gorilla clan, any challenge, either direct or indirect, is regarded as an unacceptable threat and the alpha male boss typically deals with the challenge decisively and savagely. //
I suspect this is how Mr Trump has worked all his life.

I tend to agree,, emmie. He strikes me as defensive male who has put on his well-worn and safe armour. Should I ever meet him (unlikely to the nth degree) I would exaggerate my 'little-old-lady-with-back-problems' persona and smile very sweetly---------- I'll bet you I could get him to do almost anything! :) x
