According to BBC television news tonight some feel it’s too soon but each and every one of those performers could fill a venue without the others in tow and I think it’s to be commended. What say you?

Talbot, I agree - but I don't think it's aimed at bringing comfort to the bereaved necessarily. Nothing can do that. I think it's a gesture. People can only do their best. What more can anyone do or say?

As far as I know the only person I know affectedly (only as in shocked) was the classmate (aged 10) of my Granddaughter - will she want to return to another crowded concert?

trt, the first thing is that these events don't just happen so police and others will have been asked, informed and have obviously given it the nod.

The Inspector said ''that security will be in place at both events, and shouldn't be a problem''.
Well he is not going to say, ''its going to be very difficult to keep everybody safe'', is he?

I think it's a nice gesture of good will from the all the Artists getting involved, some understandably think it's too soon but I feel its still good on their part to at least show some solidarity.

Man United have moved Michael Carrick's testimonial a few hours earlier than originally scheduled so as not to coincide with the concert.
