I am really amazed at how few Tory supporters appear to have read their manifesto. I know I've said this before, but the sheer amount of uncosted policies in their manifesto really is beyond comparison.

I am still not changing my prediction but when May wins next week and she hasn't increased her majority by very much, what will she have achieved ?

I think many are choosing to ignore Corbyn, Abbott and McDonnell and look to the freebies, naively accepting it will be 'the rich' who will pay for it, forgetting that many of those rich will simply relocate out the country to one of their other properties.

And I doubt we will see the return of the likes of Branson to pay for it.

The thing is Corbyn isn't hated universally by any means. He's only a pariah in the Tory heartlands and in a lot of people over a certain age because they think it's ion their interest to vote Tory financially. Fat lot of good your savings will do you when you are all dead because May has dismantled the NHS. Amongst younger people Corbyn is seen as a saviour, who may not be perfect but at least has some personal integrity, and there are numerous strategy websites indicating which way to vote in which constituancies to keep the Tories out. Younger people are terrified of another 5 years of the Tories and dreading this Brexit mania that seems to have taken hold of them.

I never thought she'd gain many seats, but I didn't expect the number and extend of the gaffes both sides have made during the campaigning, which makes things rather volatile. That said, more tends to be made of the gaffes than might be deserved.

I'm sure that's true, although I don't think there's much argument that *most* younger people (who are into politics) think highly of Corbyn. Although I'm not really one of them either if it comes to that.
