Corbyn This Afternoon
Hate to say it but Corbyn did damn well again this afternoon at the 2.30pm press conference.

Jim, //That's from the same school of rhetoric as "Brexit means Brexit"... // Not quite sure how you work that out, but the mentality of the naïve – or those on the lookout for a freebie - never ceases to amaze me, so I’m pretty philosophica l about the outcome of elections. I listened to Jeremy Corbyn today telling us that a Labour government will change the...

Naomi always pretends whatever suits her own personal agenda, just as she knew very well I was discussing May's absence last night, and her general absence from anywhere that might cause her to be scrutinised by the public properly, she also knows that Corbyn attracts huge crowds, she just chooses to ignore it errr lol.
I'm still amazed that May thinks she can get away with that quote:
“I’m interested in the fact that Jeremy Corbyn seems to be paying far more attention to how many appearances on telly he is doing. I think he ought to be paying a little more attention to thinking about Brexit negotiations.”
Well, I'm interested in the fact that May seems to be paying far more attention to trying to increase her already-sufficient majority in parliament by calling an election needlessly, thus forcing the nation to go on campaign mode for a couple of months. Perhaps she should have been paying a little more attention to starting Brexit negotiations?

She was invited to attend a debate that featured the leaders of all the important political parties and Paul Nuttall, but refused. That makes it a non-appearance. Whether or not it's a strategic error remains to be seen, although at this point it's almost amazing when she doesn't make a strategic campaigning error.
Still don't think it'll be enough to tip the result, mind.

Angus Robertson is leader of the SNP in the Commons, so it's not actually that bad that he'd appear, although to be sure I'd mixed up Sturgeon's appearance in the also-ran's debate with this one.
And Corbyn when he was initially going to not appear made a mistake as well -- fixed, at least, at the eleventh hour.

I live just outside Cambridge and went there last night in the hope of seeing Corbyn. There were 1,000 s there I instantly knew I stood no hope and headed for the pub instead which was packed to the doors with others on the same mission as me.
Lol ... and I thought turning out to wave at the Queen was sad

^ Has anyone heard May actually say that she personally supports 'brexit' ?
She was one of the most ardent 'remain supporters' before June 23 2016! Describing leaving the EU as '' a Disaster for the UK ! ''
How times change!
The EU council are not daft, they know full well that she is not negotiating from personal commitment ! It will go against her when she tries to 'get a deal'.

mikey , Corbyn IS POPULAR, huge crowds wherever he goes! look at Reading last week as well as Cambridge this week!
May is not popular even with Tory MP's , they regard her as too self centered and are dismayed that they find themselves left out of crucial decision making.
Yes, I am well aware the Corbyn was not popular with his own MPs!! but he is very rapidly gaining ground with them while May is doing the opposite!
