They are fine words and fine sentiments. However what have they done and what more can they do?
You know I can't for the life of me remember exactly what it said but commented to Mr C about it but on the news today they had the obligatory news reader 'on the streets' of London saying how it was all going and suddenly behind him a group of Muslim women appeared with placards and stuff and one inexplicably mentioned racist.
As I say I can't remember what it said only that it appeared to be totally the wrong context.

When the infamous cartoons were published, 100's of thousands Muslims took to the streets throughout the world in protest. Doesn't it seem strange that they demonstrate in their thousands when they think they're being insulted yet are conspicuous by their absence when atrocities are carried out in their name? It suggests to me that at the very least they condone them and the fine speech from the MCB is all that it is, a fine speech.
agc; // why would the Government even contemplate entering into discussions with the Muslim Council//
They shouldn't! This is a self-appointed body with "secret" links to the Muslim Brotherhood, which Donald Trump is considering banning in the US.
The Muslim Brotherhood's stated goal is to instil the Quran and the Sunnah as the "sole reference point for ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community and state". Its mottos include "Believers are but Brothers", "Islam is the Solution", and "Allah is our objective; the Qur'an is the Constitution; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; death for the sake of Allah is our wish".

They could consider renouncing their religion and converting to atheism. Plenty of people convert to Islam. Perhaps it's about time a few Muslims started renouncing it. Oh, hang on though, I just remembered, that doesn't go down too well, does it?:

I am afraid its too late to start finding ways to stop these Muslim Terrorist.
Our so called educated, higher hierarchy, should have taken the immigration invasion, more serious, thought more, and had a much tighter control, of who enters the UK.
The free benefit, NHS, housing system etc, is only going to encourage, more & more here, yet we have British people struggling, to live a safe ordinary comfortable life, with their family's.
A charity the UK, is NOT..!!!!!!

I can understand why many of you approve of and take comfort from the BCM statement. I follow all of its statements and am very impressed by most of them. This latest one is particularly good: the BCM employs very clever people who know just what to say to get liberal-minded Westerners eating out of their hand.
I knew my earlier post questioning the credentials of the BCM would be ignored by some, but I invite the open-minded among you who accept the good faith of the press statement to read the link in my earlier post and think about its implications. This is the BCM making its case against the PREVENT initiative and shows the support they received from today's Manchester mayor.
Also what do you make of the BCM's description of "Asian" grooming gangs as an "urban myth"?
From that post:
//This is BCM on the PREVENT program. Note praise for (wait for it) Andy Burnham:

Regarding talks with government the BCM, once a darling of Blair's New Labour, at some time fell out with government and has lost its status as preferred, if self-appointed, Muslim community representative. Don't know the details of this, but BCM does whinge about "unfair suspicions(or some such)" and "wanting to mend bridges(or some such)" on its website.

There was a comment on F.B this ,morning from the Australian P.M, It has been said a few times regards Muslims coming into Aust, you came here on your own accord, we did not beg you to come here, we have rules here, abide by it, we have Laws here, abide by them, we have traditions her, they were here before you came, enjoy the fruits of this country, it must be good here for you to come, don't try and change our ways, don't try and dictate to us our Laws, you have a choice, enjoy Australia, if you don't like it or our ways Feck off back to your rat holes, It's a pity the UK PM did not have the balls to say the same thing to these evil pieces of ***. Better still, look at their heritage even though they have a UK Passport, & deport without question, the evil scum and their so-called religious beliefs.
"What about all the Muslims and immigrants working in the NHS, police and HMF for example or do they not count?"
It's not a question of whether or not they "count". What's required is their true opinions on the role and aims of the Islamic movement in Europe. Whatever noble job they do, however "peace loving" they are, I think you will find that their aims are the same as all Muslims - that is to do all they can to ensure Islam prevails wherever they settle. They don't all mow people down with vans or stab people or behead people or blow themselves up. But the vast majority of them believe there is only one way - the Muslim way. As naomi says, that is what is instilled in them from birth.
The problem is that the Muslim way is incompatible in many important respects from European culture and that is where the problems - which ultimately manifest themselves in the form of the recent atrocities - begin.

I have just been to seen a friend of mine NJ, this person has Cancer, she loves life, she loves to help people & would go out of her way to help anyone, we got talking about the London / Manchester, she also said I would not trust a Muslim as far as she could see them, from her this was one very explosive view.
On the subject of Her Majesty's Forces, here's the Grauniad trying to tackle the often made observation that more British Muslims have gone to fight for ISIS than are fighting for the UK:
