believe the thinking is the multiculturalism actually creates ghetto-ised communities, so the resulting segregation is reminiscent of apartheid.

Personally, I think it’s a bit of a stretch to make that conclusion, but that is what I understand the concept to be.

I was not saying that I agree with the notion I was explaining, merely that this is what I believe it to be.

For the record, I find your version chimes far more with my view than the apartheid' notion which I believe to be a stretch too far.
