As long as it is just the 'well off' mikey and not ones like me who have a small works pension to help top up the state pension which does not make me well off, but who knows if it may do in the eyes of a tory government !

hereIam....the difficulty is, the people of Britain were asked to vote last week, without knowing who and how will be worse off under any future Tory regime.

Is it any wonder, that they Tories lost so many seats, when it was perceived that OAPs were going to lose out ?

I can't be bothered finding out the number, but he has been a back-bench MP through many Labour terms both in power and opposition.
Why during all that time has he never been chosen to hold any position within the party or hold any responsibility? in fact when Margaret Becket put his name forward, I'd never heard of him before and now he wants to make a coup d'etat We are living through the most bizarre period of politics I have ever known.
