Troubling, I agree. Maybe there should be a cap on legal aid in these cases. Maybe he should be deported and then make a claim in Jordan for protection under Human Rights laws

There is a couple of points to make here, The telegraph does not actually have any evidence but is instead reporting on a Daily Mail story.
As far as I can tell he was jailed for having indicative material - that alone does not make him a terrorist.
Yes it would appear on the scheme of things he should be deported but without further information and heresay its difficult to make a full and valid decision.

this isn't a new story, it's been I going for some years. can't do links but google the name of the law firm and the lawyer and all sorts of stuff pops up dating back several years. he wasn't released early other than in respect of automatic release at the halfway point of a determinate sentence.

No, well I suppose most people have manuals on how to attack nightclubs and airports.

People like this are not conducive to the well being of this country and should, as standard be deported. If they have human rights in their country of origin then tough they should have thought about that before trying to affect the human rights on people in the UK.
